Marney Staniforth

Marney Staniforth is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist currently on Maternity Leave. Marney’s passion is helping pregnant and postnatal women to feeling educated, empowered and remain physically active to achieve their goals. She has extensive knowledge in a wide range of areas including pregnancy, postnatal care, pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary and faecal incontinence, and musculoskeletal pain. 

Marney grew up in Canberra, Australia where she studied a Bachelor of Biomedical Science before moving to Sydney, Australia to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University. Since then, she has completed various post graduate courses to assist with Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Marney’s advice and recommendations are informed by the best available evidence to educate women about themselves and how to exercise safely during pregnancy and postpartum periods.

Marney’s Mission with Female Focused Health:


To encourage discussion about pelvic floor health, and empower women to reach their health and wellbeing goals. Marney hopes to provide safe and effective exercise guidance, particularly through the childbearing years.
